For children but not only
How about spending a day with the cat and the fox, in
the whale’s tummy or with the blue fairy in the
fantastic world of Pinocchio’s park at Collodi. There
is also the zoo at Pistoia where you can discover both
the local and the exotic.
A great experience in “Castello dei Conti Guidi”
together with ancient machineries and ideas from the
smart mind of LEONARDO DA VINCI

For the eternal romantic.
What about a pre-dinner drink at sunset in the central
square of Montecatini Alto, you can get there by
funicular and walk through the medieval towers to enjoy
a splendid panoramic sunset.
Then there is Monsummano Alto, with it’s beautiful
roman church, Montevettolini a medieval village, which
since 1200 was home to the noble families of Florence.
Their traces still remain at the Villa Medici dei
Principi Borghese. |

For nature lovers.
Excursion on foot, by bike, by horse or even with skis.
There is a wide choice, from the hills of Montalbano to
the mountains of Abetone, passing through all the little
mountain villages that still conserve and live the rural
and farming traditions. Here you can find village
festivals and museums at Cutigliano, San Marcello, San
Mommè and Pracchia. These are good starting points to
discover the beauty of the Tuscan pennines.
